Business Analyst

Position Summary:
This position, a critical role in the fast-growing CallMiner Global Services group, is accountable for analytical activities as part of top-notch senior implementation teams delivering advanced speech analytics solutions to large enterprise call centers. Internalizing customers’ business objectives, business rules & data requirements specifications; analyzing recorded audio & audio-based data sets for critical insights, patterns & trends; using reporting/visualization tools for analytical reports & graphical displays; participation in QA & UAT.

This is a foundational position with exciting career growth options in project management, analytics consulting, or system solution leadership. Ideal candidate has degree in Computer Information Systems or Accounting & 1 year experience in analytics and/or report creation using Microsoft Reporting Services or BI front end tools.

  • Own on-time accurate quality delivery of analysis and reports/visualization in tight alignment with specified customer ROI, analytical objectives, business rules & data requirements utilizing CallMiner best practices speech analytics methodologies.
  • Provide thorough QA & peer review of colleagues’ analysis work.
  • Contribute to packaging & delivery of key findings briefings.
  • Collaborate & communicate effectively with internal/partner project managers & technical project leads, as well as customers’ business sponsor executives, supervisors & IT staff.
  • Own rapid problem resolution & on-time milestone delivery - identify & rapidly escalate to management any barriers impacting forward progress of project.
  • Contribute to customer business value knowledgebase & accurate support handoffs.

Education/ Certification/Special Skills:

  • Business Analytics and/or Business Analysis background desired (1-3 years total professional experience)
    Familiarity with Microsoft Reporting Services & SQL/queries/SPROCs a plus.
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Science.
  • Ability to qualify for a United States Federal Government MBI Security Clearance is desired.
  • Typically little travel required, but must have flexibility for multi-week onsite work at US-based call centers for certain projects.
